 Why bother?
It'll hurt me
It'll kill when you desert me
This happened to me twice before,
It won't happen to me anymore
What is it that Tearleaf wants me to see? He wondered nervously, ...is Serenenight hurt? Is she about to die?
It worried him as he thought about his greatest friend - he was like a mother to him, even if she was still alive.
His blue-gray eyes flashed with anxiety, and he stopped by the ever-so-familiar Medicine Cat's den. It smelled strongly of herbs - Horsetail, Marigold, Catmint, Poppy Seed, Cobwebs... even Borage Leaves, for a change.

Thistledown is laying near the entrance to camp. She looks very well rested. Her fur looks clean and seems to shine in the bright sunlight. She notices when Smokekit walks in and looks at him in amusement. She didn't know that kits were aloud outside of the camp. She gets up and walks over to him.
"Smokekit! I didn't know that kits were being let out of camp these days. she says. He can probably tell that she is just joking. She knows him well because her kits were born at almost the same time he was. |

It won't happen to me anymore Smokekit's ears flattened, and unconsciously, he hissed, "I was gathering herbs before I became an apprentice!"
Nervous, he glanced at the ground. His voice shaky now, he mewed, "S-sorry... I was worried about Serenenight and Tearleaf said she had something she wanted to show me, but the ceremony's around a few days away and... you wouldn't really care..."
